Add the portal to your phone like an app. One tap to open, full-screen, and your handouts work even without signal. It takes about 20 seconds.
On iPhone and iPad, this only works in Safari — it's an Apple rule, not ours. If you opened the link from a text or email, tap the small compass icon (or aA → Open in Safari) so you're in the real Safari app.
Safari hides the install option in private tabs. If the screen looks dark, tap the two-squares button (bottom right), then switch from Private back to a normal tab and reopen the portal.
It's the square with an up-arrow, at the bottom center of Safari. A panel slides up.
Skip the top row of app icons and scroll down to the grey list of actions. Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add in the top corner.
You'll see a CleanUP icon on your home screen. Tap it and the portal opens like an app. You'll only need your passcode once.
On most Android phones the portal opens in Chrome. You may see a green Install the app button right on the Start Here page — if so, just tap it and you're done.
Tap the three-dot menu (top right of Chrome), then tap Install app (sometimes shown as Add to Home screen).
Tap Install when Chrome asks. The CleanUP icon lands on your home screen.
Tap the CleanUP icon anytime. It opens like an app, full-screen, and your handouts work offline. You'll only need your passcode once.
Apple only lets Safari add web apps to the home screen. Other browsers on iPhone (Chrome, Firefox) use Safari's engine but aren't given the install option, so it won't show up there. Once it's installed, you can use your phone normally — this only matters for the one-time setup.
Two usual causes: you're in Private Browsing (switch to a normal tab), or the page opened in an in-app browser instead of Safari (open it in the real Safari app). If it's still missing, scroll to the very bottom of the Share menu, tap Edit Actions, and turn on Add to Home Screen.
Make sure you're in Chrome (not Samsung Internet or a link preview). Open the three-dot menu and look for Install app or Add to Home screen. If it's greyed out, refresh the page once and try again.
No. Enter your passcode once and the app stays unlocked on that device. Only tap Log Out if you're on a shared or public device.
Yes. Once you've opened the portal while online, the pages and all your PDF handouts are saved to the app, so you can pull them up anywhere. The training videos need a connection the first time you watch each one.
